Almost Natural - Nuxe Reve de Miel, Ultranourishing lipbalm

Nuxe Lipbalm

I first came across this potted beauty while watching a video by Jamie Greenberg, celebrity makeup artist. This was when I first set out in the search for natural beauty products and naively believed that the active ingredient list (the only ingredient list that was Avalible on the website) was the only list that I needed, so I ran out to my local shoppers drug mart picked up the tiny glass jar, hopped into the car and dived right on in, and of course the inevitable happend. I loved it.
Upon diving more and more into the natural beauty world, reading more blogs, and further educating my self I learned that not all companies list their ingredients on there packaging or websites. Pretty stunned by this I started asking questions, wouldn't companies want there customers to have access to all the information to better educate them selves on the merchandise they could possibly purchaseing, and better familiar them Selves with the brand and make choices based on the provided information, is that to much to ask or am I being slightly dramatic? I have a tendency to be occasionally dramatic. These questions led me to email the company directly and ask for the ingredient list, they polightly replied with the full list which is listed below. I have to admit I was a little taken aback when I saw the list, after researching some of the ingredients, sadly I have decided to stop using it once it's finished and will not repurchase. It's too bad because I`av become quite fond of the little guy, taragic right?
Now don't get me wrong, this is an awesome product for those of you who don't mind using products that aren't completely natural it still has some good ingredients and you'll end up loveing this! (Trust me!) This isn't one if those lip balms that just sits on top of your lips, this guy sinks right in leaving your lips soft and moisturized for hours, perfect for wearing alone or layering it under your favourite lipstick or gloss! This honey lip balm is orange but glides on clear smells lightly of citrus and has a slight grity texture that gently exfoliates your lips.
Now for us greenies, there are tuns of alternatives to the nuxe balm out there! I hear Tata Harper makes an amazing one as well as Osmia organics, and I`am dying to try them both!

Have your tried the nuxe balm? What are your favourite lipbalms? Any suggestions? Leave them in the comments below!
